Online Payment Processing

We have been made aware from our online payment processing company that the system is not working.  They are working on correcting the situation but cannot tell us when the system will be available to make online payments.

If you are unable to make your payment electronically, please utilize one of the other payment methods available:

1) Make a payment through the phone payment system by calling 866-207-1082.  IMPORTANT – You will need to input all thirteen digits of your List Number.  Convenience fees are charged at the same rate as the online payment system.

2) Mail a check through your local Post Office – IMPORTANT – Be sure to bring your payment inside the Post Office and ask them to stamp the envelope with an Official US Postmark.  Per Connecticut State Statute, your tax payment must be received by the Tax Office on or before August 1, 2023 or contain an Official US Postmark of August 1, 2023 or prior to be considered a payment made on time and will not be charged interest.

3) Utilize the payment drop box in the grassy circle in the Town Hall parking lot for your check payment. Cash payments will not be accepted from the drop box.

4) Pay in person at the Tax Collector’s office on August 1, 2023 from 8:30 a.m until 6:00 p.m.
Per Connecticut General Statutes, any payment not received by August 1, 2023 is considered delinquent and interest MUST be charged at a rate of 1.5% per month from the due date of July 1, 2023.
