Absentee ballots for the November 8, 2022 election are available beginning October 7, 2022 at the Town Clerk’s office.

To qualify for an absentee ballot, an elector must be unable to appear at the polling place on the day of election for one of the following reasons: 

(1) Active service in the armed forces;
(2) Absence from town of residence;
(3) Sickness;
(4) Religious tenets;
(5) Duties as an election official at a polling place other than my own;
(6) Physical disability.

Completed application forms and ballots may be mailed to the Clerk’s office or delivered in person. Voters may also use the secure Ballot Box located outside the entrance to Town Hall.

The Town Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon for anyone needing an absentee ballot.

In order to be counted, the Town Clerk must receive ballots by 8:00 P.M. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
