Farmington Canal Trail Improvements
Cornwall Avenue to West Main Street - This portion of the trail will be designed and constructed by the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. Work began in spring 2017 and should be complete in the fall 2018.

Past Projects
East Johnson Avenue Bridge
The existing East Johnson Avenue Bridge over the Quinnipiac River was replaced during the summer and fall of 2016.
West Main Sidewalk Installation
The Town of Cheshire constructed sidewalks on the north side of West Main Street between Grove Street and Maple Avenue. The project included approximately 1,600 feet of new sidewalk as well as a four foot high retaining wall on the westerly end of the project.
The project was funded in full by a grant from the CT Department of Economic and Community Development.

Creamery Road Bridge
The existing Creamery Road bridge over Honeypot Brook was replaced during the summer of 2015.
Blacks Road Bridge
The existing Blacks Road Bridge over Honeypot Brook was replaced during the summer of 2014.
South Brooksvale Road Culvert
The existing South Brooksvale Road culvert over Sanford Brook was replaced during the summer of 2013.
