Town of Cheshire

The Bartlem Recreation Area is located on Route 10 across from Cheshire High School.  Bartlem Park was named for the Town's first Recreation director, Richard C. Bartlem who served as Director from 1968-1993.  Park amenities include the Community Pool, a 90 foot baseball diamond, soccer, lacrosse, Kids In Motion playscape, a pavilion, picnic area, community gardens and skate park.  Restroom facilities are available in season.

The Bartlem Pavilion is available for rental.  

The Town is developing land that was acquired adjacent to Bartlem Park, with assistance from a consultant and with significant input from Town residents.  The proposed Master Plan is available here.
