PROCESSED THROUGH THE MAIL OR ONLINE PREFFERED  
 
MAIL IN:
-Registration fee – Neutered & spayed dogs $8.00
Not neutered or spayed $19.00
-Certificate of spay or neuter if not already on file
-A current rabies certificate if not already on file 
                            (must be valid 7/1/2024 or later)
-Enclose a self-addressed stamped business envelope (2 stamps, please)
-Payable to “Cheshire Town Clerk” 84 South Main St. Cheshire, CT 06410

-Only renewals can be done online 
-Rabies date must be current. If not, email certificate to [email protected] prior to licensing online.

DROP OFF – dog owners may drop off dog license information in an envelope at Town Hall in the ballot box outside. A license will be mailed the next business day. 

IN PERSON – hours of operation 8:30-4:00 M-F
