The Planning and Zoning Commission is a regulatory agency that establishes land use policy. The commission is made up of nine elected members who serve six year overlapping terms and three alternates who serve four year overlapping terms. The commission meets the fourth Monday of each month.
Planning and Zoning Commission Application Deadlines
The Planning and Zoning Commission meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at Cheshire Town Hall. Applications are due the Monday before or seven (7) days before the meeting, with the exception of holidays and applications for August when the Commission does not meet. Applications are accepted at the first meeting and the Commission then sets future dates for application consideration. Please check with the Planning Department for the deadlines and meeting dates for your application.
