REAL ESTATE

Escrow: If you received a property tax bill that is supposed to be paid from an escrow account by your mortgage company, please call your escrow agent or mortgage company immediately. They must in turn notify the Collector of Revenue that they are responsible for this payment and arrange to have your future real estate tax bills sent to them.

No longer own: If you received a tax bill for real estate that you no longer own, please notify the Collector of Revenue immediately at 203-271-6630.

Address change: If you want to change your mailing address for real estate and sewer use bills only, you must notify the Collector of Revenue in writing.   An original signature is required.

 


MOTOR VEHICLE

No longer own: If you no longer own or feel you are being improperly billed for a motor vehicle, contact the Assessor's Office immediately at 203-271-6620.

Address change: If you want to change your mailing address for motor vehicle tax bills, you must do so with the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. Failure to make all necessary changes will cause the misinformation to carry forward on future motor vehicle tax bills.

 


SEWER USE BILLS

Questions: If you have questions about your sewer use bill, contact the Public Works Department at 203-271-6650.

Address change: If you want to change your mailing address for sewer use bills, you must notify the Collector of Revenue in writing.   An original signature is required.
